DAY 11: Favorite Adventure You Ran?
The adventure I had the most fun with was the one I ran with my senior-year college roommates because it was a little less serious than your standard adventure. The adventure at times was very serious when it came to encountering the villain, but other times it definitely ran like a slapstick comedy. One of my favorite moments from that adventure was that they had gotten a lead that the villain was slowly starting an underground cult to a very evil man. They found the quickest way to travel was via a new rail system that was being built to transport people and goods across the land. While onboard, the druid, who couldn't speak common most of the time, got in trouble with one of the conductors and rather than try and find help he determined the best course of action was to cast 'Create Water' over the conductor, flooding the car with about 20 gallons of water giving him a moment to flee. In an attempt to get away he called for his dire bat to fly away, but his bat decided it was more important to grab the party's Donkey (Onus VI - As it was the 6th donkey they had) and fly off for a meal. Needless to say, they ended up stranded in a railcar in the middle of nowhere as things went sideways with the Dire Bat pretty quick.
